We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team at Maestro Consulting Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the construction industry.

About the Role

As a Business Development Representative, you will be working closely with our senior sales manager to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth. Your primary responsibilities will include prospecting and lead generation, managing the sales cycle from lead identification to deal closure, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the construction industry, including fabrication, welding shops, detailing, and erection offices. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively negotiate and close deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and Lead Generation: Identify, qualify, and generate new business leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead identification to deal closure, including presentations, negotiations, and implementation.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintain and update customer databases, track leads, opportunities, and interactions using CRM tools.
  • Client Consultation: Understand client needs to offer tailored solutions and provide excellent customer service.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer support, and technical teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
  • Reporting: Update sales forecasts and reports for the sales manager, meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18-$25 per hour based on experience, plus sales commission. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Requirements
  • Education: Any degree is acceptable, but a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with experience in the construction industry being a valuable advantage.
  • Technical Skills: CRM knowledge, data mining, and proficiency in sales tools, including PowerPoint.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to effectively negotiate and close deals.
