Job Title: Glass Installation Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a Glass Installation Assistant at Sherwood Windows Limited.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespersons with glass installation tasks, including loading and unloading construction materials, directing traffic at construction sites, and operating automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Operate or tend automated assembling equipment to assist with glass installation tasks.
  • Assist skilled tradespersons with glass installation tasks, including cutting, fitting, and placing glass panels.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
