AutoCanada is seeking an exceptional Automotive Sales Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our sales floor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a dynamic sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and supervise a sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Assign sales staff to duties and prepare weekly work schedules to optimize sales floor performance.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
  • Lead and motivate sales associates to achieve individual and team sales targets, and track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and team performance.
  • Ensure that all customers and potential customers of the dealership are handled in a positive manner and in accordance with established procedures and guidelines while maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, including store displays, signage, and cleanliness.
  • Oversee inventory levels and ensure a well-maintained and organized sales floor, collaborating with other departments to optimize stock levels based on sales demand.
  • Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with the management team to implement best practices and innovative approaches.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales performance and other relevant metrics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years' experience in automotive dealership sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience leading a Sales team in a dealership, including effective coaching, mentoring, and team development.
  • Experience using automotive dealership software, including VIN Solutions, CDK, and DealerMine.
  • Must have a valid OMVIC license.
  • Valid Ontario Drivers' License, with a clear drivers abstract.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive products and industry trends.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
  • Prior experience with inventory management and sales analytics.
