About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our mental health services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to individuals and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for clients with mental health and substance use issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including therapy, counseling, and support services.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support services, including emergency response and stabilization.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for clients with complex needs.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health and substance use issues.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with mental health and substance use populations.
  • Valid Class V British Columbia driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Eligibility for registration with the relevant professional association.
