Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
- One (1) year recent related mental health experience in an acute, tertiary, or community setting.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to assess and provide nursing care to clients with mental health and substance use issues.
- Knowledge of mental illness and substance use treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation, and recovery.
- Effective communication skills to work with clients, families, caregivers, medical staff, and the interprofessional care team.
