About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Reliance Home Comfort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the safe operation of all new installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
  • Responsible for professionally servicing HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and provide clear instructions to customers on proper care and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, offering solutions to meet their home comfort needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in HVAC technology.

Requirements

  • A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • A valid Gas Technician II license.
  • A certificate of qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – 313d).
  • A valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card.
  • A Class G Driver's License.
  • 3-5 years of field experience in service of Water Heaters & HVAC equipment, an asset.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
  • Physical ability to perform all work required of this position, including occasional lifting of 15 kg up to shoulder height.
