Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled School Bus Driver - Transportation Specialist to join our team in Sarnia, Ontario. As a Transportation Professional, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, while ensuring the well-being and safety of all passengers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transportation Safety
    • Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
    • Follow established safety protocols to ensure the safe transportation of students
  • Customer Service
    • Provide support to students by assisting with boarding and exiting the bus
    • Ensure students are safely seated and secured at all times
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure the bus is in good working condition
    • Report any vehicle issues or concerns to the maintenance team

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Good verbal communication skills
    • At least 21 years old
    • Valid driver's license for at least 1 year
    • Undergo and pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks
  • Benefits
    • $19.75/HR wage
    • No experience necessary - we train
    • Additional hours available - charter route opportunities
    • Child ride along program
    • No nights or weekends
