We are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Pet Valu. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your duties will include scheduling appointments, answering telephone calls and electronic enquiries, and compiling data and statistics. You will also be responsible for overseeing the preparation of reports, ordering office supplies, and maintaining inventory. Additionally, you will provide customer service and perform basic bookkeeping tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be organized and reliable, and have the ability to multitask. Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Compile data, statistics and other information
  • Oversee the preparation of reports
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  • Provide customer service
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
