Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at NATURAL SPICE MULTI-CUISINE. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about menu items and preparation methods.
  • Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes, ensuring they meet customer preferences and dietary needs.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and efficient food preparation.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation methods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to train and supervise staff.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions

The kitchen environment can be physically demanding, with exposure to heat, noise, and heavy lifting. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
