Job Title: Environmental Project Manager

At Administration portuaire de Québec, we are committed to a more sustainable future. As an Environmental Project Manager, you will play a key role in our mission to protect biodiversity and biophysical environments within our territory.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage environmental projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery;
  • Collaborate with the Environment department to design and implement environmental measures for infrastructure projects;
  • Evaluate projects under the Impact Assessment and Mitigation Process (IAMP) to determine their environmental acceptability;
  • Coordinate contaminated land characterization and remediation projects;
  • Plan and supervise surface and groundwater quality monitoring;
  • Collaborate with external consultants to develop studies and programs for our needs;
  • Act as an environmental watchdog and respond to emergencies and complaints;
  • Support supervisor and team members with various mandates;
  • Contribute to creating a work climate conducive to teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to see projects through to completion;
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders;
  • Environmental and project management expertise;
  • Good team player with a results-oriented attitude;
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a project manager.
Assets:
  • Field experience in an industrial environment;
  • Knowledge of the maritime environment.
