About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Archaeology Field Technician I to join our team in Southwestern Ontario. As an integral part of our archaeological team, you will be involved in various stages of fieldwork, including Stage 2 surveys, Stage 3 site-specific assessments, and Stage 4 mitigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete archaeological fieldwork under the supervision of an experienced Field Supervisor.
  • Work outdoors in a wide variety of weather and ground conditions.
  • Support Field Supervisors and provide assistance where needed.
  • Participate in a team environment providing support to other field technicians.
  • Maintain a high standard of ethical and professional behavior.
Requirements
  • Ability to work daily at field site locations.
  • Willingness and ability to perform physical demanding and repetitive movement tasks.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel and work on out-of-town projects.
