Project Management Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our Program Management team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the success of assigned projects through prudent management and oversight of all resources.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience in large-scale industrial or similar construction projects, with a strong understanding of design and construction processes. They will also possess excellent client service skills and project management best practices to deliver projects that meet financial and other objectives while exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the approved scope, budget, and schedule of projects.
  • Provide day-to-day project oversight and communication with clients and project teams.
  • Develop, track, update, forecast, and modify project schedules and budgets throughout all phases of the project.
  • Review and track all contracts, invoices, and payments to contractors, consultants, and vendors.
  • Able to understand contracts and assist with negotiations.
  • Familiarity with Ontario and/or Canadian Design and Construction.
  • Ability to travel and visit project site locations as required.
  • Evaluate, advise on, and assist in resolving disputes and claims.
  • Adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple tasks over an extended period.

Requirements

  • Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a similar field would be an asset.
  • Project Management certification such as PMP or an equivalent designation would be an asset.

What We Offer

Stantec provides a comprehensive compensation package, including:

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

This range is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of experience and qualifications required for this role.
