Job Description

Rosedale's Finest Specialty Foods is seeking a skilled Barista/Cashier to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.



Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have




  • Maintain a fully stocked and clean station, consistently in proper running order.
  • Self-manage inventory and ensure proper functioning of the front-of-house area.
  • Work efficiently and effectively, utilizing strong multi-tasking skills to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide support to management, including answering customer questions, taking catering orders, and operating a P.O.S system.
  • Possess a high degree of professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work a variety of shifts and meet the changing needs of our business.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need




  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Barista.
  • A strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts and meet the changing needs of our business.

Working Conditions

English is the primary language required for this role, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.



Working Hours

The successful candidate will work a variety of shifts, including day and evening shifts, with the opportunity to work up to 44 hours per week.



Supplemental Pay

The successful candidate will receive supplemental pay in the form of tips, with the opportunity to earn additional income through sales and customer service.
