Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Services Coordinator to join our team at Bridges Family Programs Association of Southeastern Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of social programs, performing administrative tasks, and planning programs of assistance for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of social programs and services
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Plan and develop programs of assistance for clients, including community outreach and education
  • Provide public education and consultation regarding counseling services, issues, and methods
  • Conduct social research and analyze data to inform program development and evaluation
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia to share knowledge and best practices
  • Develop prevention and intervention programs to meet community needs
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in social services or a related field
  • College/CEGEP diploma or degree in social work or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
