Job Title: Social Services Coordinator

Bridges Family Programs Association of Southeastern Alberta is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Social Services Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Social Services Coordinator will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of social programs, performing administrative tasks, and planning programs of assistance for clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong understanding of community development principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of social programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping
  • Plan programs of assistance for clients, including developing prevention and intervention programs
  • Provide public education and consultation regarding counselling services, issues, and methods
  • Conduct social research and analyze data to inform program development
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in social services or a related field
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
