The Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, an Autograph Collection by Marriott resort, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team as an Employee Experience Specialist. About the Role
This pivotal role is responsible for providing exceptional support to employees, hiring managers, and internal HR stakeholders. As the primary point of contact, you will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless onboarding process, fostering a positive employee experience, and maintaining timely execution of critical HR tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome new hires, executing a comprehensive onboarding plan, and ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
- Develop and send engaging communication materials, including company information, onboarding agendas, equipment handovers, dress code guidelines, parking options, perks, and other essential details.
- Provide technical assistance to ensure new hires properly set up their hardware and software, distribute manuals, passwords, and guidelines as needed.
- Host onboarding sessions and align new employees with their managers and teams.
- Enter and audit data, setting up employee profiles in internal HR systems, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the Recruitment and Retention Manager on various projects, including involvement in the Wellness Committee.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position or a degree in HR or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working in the hospitality sector.
- Knowledge and understanding of employee relations.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, deliver high-quality results on time, and maintain attention to detail.
- An energetic and service-oriented mindset, passionate about delivering exceptional employee experiences.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong team player with a results-driven approach and ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- A reliable work ethic with a 'can-do' attitude.
What We Offer
We provide a competitive salary range of $65,000-$75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
