About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at Lumiere Patisserie. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating exquisite pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats that will delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and develop new pastry and dessert menus that showcase our creativity and expertise.
  • Production and Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats for our customers, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that our inventory is always well-stocked and up-to-date.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor our pastry team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their pastry and dessert purchases.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pastry or dessert production environment
  • Language: English
  • Work Setting: Bakery
