We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at Lumiere Patisserie. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our exquisite pastries and desserts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Requisitioning Supplies: Accurately estimate the quantity and cost of ingredients and supplies needed for daily operations, ensuring optimal inventory management and minimizing waste.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff on new cooking techniques, equipment, and recipes, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Menu Development: Create new and innovative pastry recipes, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences, to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Customer Service: Prepare and present high-quality pastries and desserts for special events and customer orders, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
