Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at THE GURU FINE INDIAN CUISINE. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement effective work schedules to ensure seamless operation of the restaurant.
  • SUPERVISE AND CO-ORDINATE ACTIVITIES OF STAFF WHO PREPARE AND PORTION FOOD
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
  • HIRE FOOD SERVICE STAFF
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates to optimize profitability.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports on restaurant performance to management.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of restaurant operations and management principles. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Qualifications:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field is preferred.
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment where you will be expected to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. The majority of your time will be spent standing, with occasional sitting and walking required.
