This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with an estimated salary of $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Job Description

As a Strategic Business Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying business requirements and providing solutions that meet those needs. You will work closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives, and develop tailored strategies to achieve them.

You will also be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions, as well as providing advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.

In addition, you will assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, and develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Confer with clients to identify requirements
  • Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements
  • Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation
  • Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions
  • Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, Internet, file management software, security software, and MS Office
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
