Job Description

TV2 Consulting is seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, including Windows Server environments, Linux systems, and cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and Secure Windows Server Environments: Ensure proper setup of permissions, roles, and system security policies to maintain a secure and stable environment.
  • Configure and Monitor Key Applications: Set up and monitor Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, and Tomcat, as well as other critical applications.
  • Oversee Linux Environments: Manage Linux systems, including Docker management and DevOps practices, with hands-on experience using Bash commands.
  • Ensure Adherence to Security Standards: Demonstrate responsibility and integrity by adhering to security standards and IT policies.
  • Proactively Troubleshoot and Resolve System Issues: Develop application deployment plans, strategize system migrations, and engage with team members to gather insights and information.
  • Plan and Execute Transparent Application Migrations: Communicate clearly and provide user support during system migrations and deployments.
  • Provide Critical Analysis: Recommend solutions and best practices for short, mid, and long-term infrastructure improvements.
Requirements:
  • Strong Knowledge of Windows Server Environments: Experience configuring security protocols and policies.
  • Experience in Services and Application Monitoring: Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, and Tomcat.
  • Proficiency in Linux System Administration: Experience with Docker, DevOps, and Bash scripting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Programming Languages: Knowledge of ASP, VB.NET, C#, and Java.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Version Control Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins, GIT, Team Foundation, Urban Deploy, and OpenShift.
  • Analytical and Solution-Driven: Ability to recommend practical infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong Communication and Planning Skills: Capable of ensuring smooth user experiences during system migrations and deployments.
  • Eager to Learn and Take Initiative: Willingness to resolve system challenges and improve processes.
