We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Infrastructure Ontario. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex infrastructure projects through all phases of development and implementation, from planning to commissioning and final transfer of responsibility to operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex infrastructure projects through all phases of development and implementation, including planning, design, construction, commissioning, and final transfer of responsibility to operations.
- Manage the planning, design, and construction of large and complex infrastructure projects delivered through traditional direct-delivery and Public-Private Partnerships (P3s).
- Manage relationships with various groups of internal and external stakeholders to mitigate project risks and ensure that project objectives are met.
- Lead presentations to seek approvals and demonstrate new concepts, including briefings for senior management and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead in coordinating with various internal and external team members to establish agendas, processes, and procedures to advance business objectives and project outcomes.
- Background in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Engineering, or other relevant discipline to the design and construction industry.
- Substantial hands-on experience managing major complex infrastructure projects, including direct hands-on management of consultants and contractors.
- Strong business acumen and experience in dealing with project budgets, schedules, technical requirements, and construction methodologies.
- Good understanding of traditional forms of contracts and P3 delivery models.
- Experience negotiating claims, scope changes, and other compliance and contractual items on projects is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- A competitive salary range of $104,400 - $156,600 per year.
