Job Overview

Taylor Strategy Partners is a leading provider of innovative pharmaceutical solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background in the ophthalmology and pharmaceutical therapeutic area, with a proven track record of territory management and effective collaboration with specialty pharmacies. The role requires excellent business acumen, strong relationship-building and communication skills, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.

Main Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan to maximize sales opportunities and achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory and accounts.
2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders in the healthcare region, including ophthalmologists, pharmacists, specialty pharmacies, nurses, technicians, drug access navigators, and other healthcare professionals who impact patient care.
3. Promote and sell pharmaceutical products in the ophthalmology therapeutic area, focusing on product benefits, clinical evidence, and competitive advantages in a compliant manner.
4. Collaborate closely with specialty pharmacies to support product access, patient education, and reimbursement processes.
5. Stay current on the latest industry trends, product developments, technologies, and competitive landscape in the ophthalmology market to effectively position company products.

Requirements

1. A bachelor's degree in Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a focus on ophthalmology preferred.
3. Proven experience managing a sales territory, with the ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks effectively.
4. Strong business acumen with a track record of achieving sales goals and driving business growth.
5. Ability to travel overnight as required for territory management and business development activities.
