Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing the educational activities of a large team, ensuring the highest quality instruction and academic performance.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, with experience in evaluating teachers and support staff, as well as revising programs to meet academic standards.

The ideal candidate will also possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make sound judgments.

In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating teaching activities, organizing records, and preparing budgets. You will also play a key role in recruiting and hiring staff, as well as directing their training and evaluation.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate teachers and support staff to ensure they are meeting high standards of instruction and performance.
  • Revised programs based on academic performance level to ensure students are meeting their full potential.
  • Coordinate teaching activities to ensure a smooth and efficient learning environment.
  • Organize and maintain procedures for keeping accurate records.
  • Prepare and administer institution or program budget to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Review programs to ensure conformance to school board or provincial standards.
Work Environment

This role requires a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and make sound judgments.

You will be working with a large team, so excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.

Requirements
  • A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident with a valid work permit.
  • 5 years or more of experience in education leadership.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Estimated Salary

$120-$140 per hour (negotiable), 45 hours per week.
