Restaurant Shift Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at Wendy's. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, overseeing staff, and maintaining exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Schedule Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and efficient use of resources.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
- Hiring and Onboarding: Hire food service staff, conducting thorough interviews and onboarding processes to ensure a seamless transition.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
- Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules, balancing staff needs with business requirements.
- Supervision: 5-10 people, including Cooks, Food Service Counter Attendants, and Food Preparers.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, with standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and teamwork.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, with a permanent employment duration.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Working Hours: 35 hours per week.
$45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
