Job Description

Sankalp Restaurant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring that high-quality dishes are served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage kitchen inventory and maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks and helpers, to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standard.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
Personal Suitability
  • Initiative: The ability to take initiative and work independently is essential for this role.
  • Organized: Excellent organizational skills are required to manage kitchen operations effectively.
  • Reliability: The successful candidate must be reliable and able to maintain accurate records.
  • Team Player: A strong team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues is required.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills are necessary to manage kitchen operations efficiently.
Salary and Benefits
