About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Tasty Indian Bistro. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate with Suppliers

You will be responsible for negotiating arrangements with suppliers for food and other essential supplies, ensuring that we receive the best possible quality and value for our money.

Customer Service

You will be the primary point of contact for customer complaints or concerns, and will work to resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Operations Management

You will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating the daily operations of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, and quality assurance.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Tight Deadlines

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will need to be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.

Attention to Detail

You will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant's operations are carried out to a high standard, and will need to be able to pay close attention to detail.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, and will need to be able to provide clear and concise information to management.

You will be expected to be reliable and dependable, and to be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions
  • Work Term

This is a permanent position, and you will be expected to commit to working for Tasty Indian Bistro for the long-term.

Work Language

The primary language of communication in the restaurant is English, and you will be expected to be proficient in this language.

Hours

You will be expected to work a standard 40-hour week, with some flexibility to work additional hours as required.
