Job Title: Claims Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Administrator to join our Claims and Licensing team in Edmonton. As a Claims Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration of vehicle accident claims occurring to company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and respond to the TDF claims queue with precision and efficiency.
  • Set up and manage new claims, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
  • Guide clients and drivers through the accident claims process with empathy and expertise.
  • Report and liaise with insurers to ensure claims are filed within established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to manage vehicle repairs, review estimates, and minimize client downtime.
  • Audit and process payments to vendors for all claim-related costs.
  • Manage your assigned clients' claims portfolios with diligence and attention to detail.
  • Provide insightful reports and analysis to management and clients.
  • Handle subrogation processes as required.
  • Participate in department meetings and assist with maintaining client insurance certificates.
Requirements:
  • A diploma in Business Administration is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in handling claims or a related field.
  • A Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) designation or current enrollment is an asset.
  • Experience with vehicle damage is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
  • Capable of recognizing, analyzing, and solving problems independently while adhering to company policies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
