About the Role

Mumbai Express is seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and provide leadership and guidance to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, and ensure that all health and safety standards are met.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
