About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Expert to join our team at MY ROTI PLACE / MY DOSA PLACE. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for planning menus, preparing and cooking meals, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Develop and implement menus that meet the tastes and dietary needs of our customers, while ensuring profitability and efficiency.

Culinary Operations

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.

Food Safety and Quality Control

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Team Leadership and Training

Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards.

Inventory Management

Order supplies and equipment, and maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.

Customer Service

Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field

Work Environment

Restaurant environment with fast-paced and dynamic conditions

Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
