About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at BARMI RENOVATION INC. as a key member of our flooring installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding, as well as measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors.
  • Installation and Repair: Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings, prepare and install hardwood floors, inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, and prepare floors for installations.
  • Removal and Cleanup: Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work Conditions: The work environment is physically demanding, with potential exposure to dust, noise, and other hazards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week, with a regular full-time schedule.
