Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at KRB DESIGNS & CONSTRUCTION INC. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality floor coverings that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and precise installation.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a solid foundation for floor coverings.
  • Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors with precision and attention to detail.
  • Prepare floors for installation by removing existing coverings and contaminants.
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces as required.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling. As a team player, you will work collaboratively with our installation team to deliver high-quality results.
