About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at Royal Construction & Renovation Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of floor coverings for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding, as well as measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings.
  • Hardwood Floor Installation: Prepare and install hardwood floors to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Inspection and Repair: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, ensuring a seamless and professional finish.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare floors for installations, removing existing floor coverings and contaminants as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work Experience: Will train, with a focus on developing skills and expertise in floor covering installation.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
