About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at ESSKAY HOMES INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Construction Scheduling and Monitoring
    • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time.
    • Identify and mitigate potential project risks and delays.
  • Contract Administration
    • Prepare and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers.
    • Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and company policies.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Establish and implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality construction work.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including project coordinators and site managers.
    • Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including project sponsors, clients, and team members.
    • Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates and financial reports.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project.
