About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Newtech Renovation Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit production reports to management
    • Coordinate and schedule site activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Site Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction workers and tradespeople
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Training and Development
    • Oversee the training and development of apprentices and junior staff members
    • Identify training needs and develop training plans to enhance staff skills and knowledge
  • Materials and Equipment
    • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
    • Ensure that all materials and equipment are properly stored and maintained
  • Personnel Management
    • Recommend personnel actions to management, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions
    • Ensure that all personnel are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with management, staff, and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
    • Provide regular updates and reports to management on project progress and site activities
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or management role in the construction industry
  • Language
    • English
  • Work Hours
    • 35 hours per week
