Job Title: Land-Based Instructor

Job Summary:

The Tribal Chiefs Education Foundation is seeking a highly qualified Land-Based Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering and planning meaningful land-based activities for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery and planning of land-based activities for students
  • Maintain an effective learning environment for students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans on all aspects of Cree culture
  • Participate in land-based meetings and camps
  • Collaborate with Elders to provide land-based education

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Education Degree or related training/experience
  • Knowledge and experience in land-based activities
  • Cree language is a definite asset
  • Class 5 Alberta Driver's License
  • Clean Criminal Record & Child Welfare Checks
