About the Role

Viking Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our landscape maintenance crew, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to landscape construction, maintenance, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and weeding.
  • Remove litter and garbage from the work site.
  • Apply fertilizers and other chemicals as needed.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other landscape maintenance tools.
  • Write daily basic progress reports to ensure effective communication with the team.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and kneeling.
  • Work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Use manual dexterity to operate equipment and perform tasks.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
