Job Summary

The Contract Analyst will be responsible for evaluating, writing, and negotiating contracts with the Field Sales Organization on behalf of ICU Medical. The analyst will implement contracts within the Contracting system and monitor contract operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate agreements and pricing strategies to ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
  • Update and maintain the Contracting system as a result of new or amended contract terms.
  • Draft Letters of Agreement (LOAs) or Letters of Understanding (LOUs) between ICU Medical and customers.
  • Provide data and analytics for assigned regions and contracts.
  • Communicate extensively with Field Sales to update on customer negotiations.
  • Handle incoming Field Sales contracting requests or questions.
  • Provide support for process improvement, standardization, or strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with accounts receivable to resolve billing discrepancies pursuant to contractual terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate on interview project teams and work groups.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in reporting or contracting role.
  • 2+ years of experience working in the medical or related industry.
  • Prior experience working within the Medical Surgical business model.
  • Prior experience with the contracting process, including reviewing, amending, and standardizing contracts and T&Cs.
  • Prior experience negotiating contracts directly with customers in either a face-to-face fashion or over the phone.
  • Prior Model N and/or contracting system experience.

Work Environment

This is a largely sedentary role. The job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time.
