Infrastructure Crew Lead Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Crew Leader to oversee and supervise our workforce in Edmonton, Alberta, and surrounding communities.

Job Summary:

As a Crew Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects, managing safety documentation, and preparing jobs for execution. You will be the primary point of contact for customers on site, resolving concerns, and building strong relationships. You will also train, coach, and mentor technicians on proper work practices and techniques.

Required Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a cabling infrastructure setting
  • Prior experience operating trench excavating equipment and pulling machines
  • Minimum 5 years of experience reading and interpreting telecommunication drawings and specifications, setting pedestals, conduit identification, and work planning
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a crew supervisory capacity
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a direct customer-facing role

Assets Include:

  • Current and up-to-date safety tickets
  • Communication education is an asset

Must-Haves:

  • Valid Alberta Class 5 Operator's License or equivalent (recent Drivers Abstract will be required upon condition of employment)
  • Equipment operation certifications
  • Commercial drivers abstract will be required
  • Excellent understanding of communications cabling standards applicable to the telecommunications industry, including codes and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with clients and team members
  • Customer service focus with excellent customer service skills
