Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Crew Lead to oversee and supervise our workforce, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects. As a key point of contact for our customers, you will resolve concerns, build strong relationships, and guarantee that all work meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train technicians on proper work practices and techniques.
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
  • Manage customer relationships and resolve concerns.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and completion.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a cabling infrastructure setting.
  • Prior experience operating trench excavating equipment and pulling machines.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience reading and interpreting telecommunication drawings and specifications.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a crew supervisory capacity.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a direct customer-facing role.

Assets:

  • Current and up-to-date safety tickets.
  • Communications education is an asset.

Must-Haves:

  • Valid Alberta Class 5 Operator's License or equivalent.
  • Equipment operation certifications.
  • Commercial drivers abstract will be required.
  • Excellent understanding of communications cabling standards applicable to the telecommunications industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service focus with excellent customer service skills.
