Job Title: Intensive Care Nurse

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. As an Intensive Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide independent nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.
  • Administer prescribed medical treatments and medications as required.
  • Take a leadership role within the healthcare team and facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge.
  • Ensure that all care is provided in accordance with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses and the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses.

Requirements:
  • Degree from an approved Registered Nursing education program.
  • Preference will be given to those with previous experience working in Maternal/Newborn units.
  • Successful completion of relevant post-basic programs may be required.
  • Maintain and provide proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
  • Active participation in professional associations such as the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) is preferred.
