This role comes with a competitive salary ranging from $40,616 to $49,826 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Science Intensive Care unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex and unpredictable health needs.


You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible outcomes.



Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
  • Current CRNM registration required.
  • Post-graduate course in I.C.U. Nursing or equivalent I.C.U. experience preferred.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)/Registered Psychiatric Nurses Act.
  • Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking/problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to respond to a variety of simultaneous demands.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and pursue self-development opportunities.
  • Ability to perform independently and as a member of the health care team.
  • Ability to function in a variety of demanding and stressful situations.
