About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Osmow's Shawarma. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen and front-of-house staff
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement efficient systems and procedures to manage inventory, labor, and customer flow
    • Monitor and control costs, including food, labor, and supplies
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and labor
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry
    • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. hospitality, business)
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
