Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our team in Peterborough, Ontario. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving business growth, cultivating strong client relationships, and fostering a culture of excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage client engagements, providing high-quality audit, tax, and advisory services.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures, as well as operational strategies.
  • Review tax provisions for clients and assist in the development of tax planning strategies.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, responding to their needs and requests.
  • Collaborate with managers and senior managers to plan capacity and resources.
Requirements
  • Completion of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in public accounting, with a proven track record of success in client service and business development.
  • Strong technical skills in accounting, auditing, and tax compliance.
  • Experience working with Caseware/Caseview, Jazzit, Keystone, Excel, and Profile.
  • Advanced Canadian tax knowledge, including personal, corporate, excise, and/or Canadian GAAPs.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior staff.
