The Canadian Mathematical Society is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Mathematics and Statistics. This prestigious position offers a unique opportunity for a world-renowned researcher to lead a team of scholars and contribute to the advancement of mathematical sciences.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct cutting-edge research in mathematics and statistics, with a focus on advancing knowledge and understanding in the field.
- Supervise and mentor graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty members.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics and statistics, and develop innovative curricula.

- PhD in mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
- Established reputation as a world-leading researcher in mathematics and statistics.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
