About the Role

The Strategic Business Development Manager will be responsible for building relationships with business clients, negotiating sales contracts, and managing regional and divisional sales operations. You will also lead the planning, directing, and evaluating of activities in sales departments across commercial, industrial, wholesale, and retail establishments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages effectively to the field.
  • Establish organizational policies and procedures related to sales.
  • Lead the sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts.
  • Organize regional and divisional sales operations.
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate the activities of sales departments in various establishments.
  • Recruit, organize, train, and manage staff.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar position.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
