Job Summary

Nu-Tech Rollforming Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure accurate production planning and minimize waste.
  • Prepare production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruit and hire workers and manage staffing actions to meet production demands.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure employees have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to optimize production workflows and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage company operations to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize costs.
  • Oversee the operation of company to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Set up machines and equipment to ensure optimal production performance.
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to precision-cut and shape materials.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and customers.
  • Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
Working Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high production demands.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate production and minimize errors.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to collaborate with employees and management.
Language
  • English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
Work Schedule
  • 40-44 hours per week with occasional overtime as required.
