Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure accurate production planning and minimize waste.
  • Prepare production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruit and hire workers and manage staffing actions to meet production demands.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure employees have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to optimize production workflows and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage company operations to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize costs.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Set up machines and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure they are meeting production targets and quality standards.
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to precision-cut and shape metal products.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage teams and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
  • Attention to detail to ensure quality products and accurate reporting.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 40-44 hour workweek and a language of work in English.
