Job Title: Sales Support Specialist

SSAB Swedish Steel Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Support Specialist to provide direct support to Regional Sales Managers in the development of existing and prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with current and new customers, providing product advice and technical support.
  • Prepare quotations and sales orders, and close accounts by responding to customer inquiries.
  • Maintain and improve quality results by following company standards and recommending process improvements.
  • Develop quotations in accordance with company policy and sales strategy.
  • Suggest related and new items, explaining technical features and complying with company policy.
  • Remain knowledgeable about company products and industry developments.
  • Work closely with Operations, CAD, Shipping, Sales, Finance, and Management teams.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Source new sales opportunities through lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of sales experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong attention to details, analytical skills, and exceptional judgment.
  • Dependable, excellent teamwork skills, good time management skills, creative, problem-solving, hardworking, and persistent.

Travel 10% of the time for meetings, trainings, and conferences as needed.
