The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at BCJobs. The successful candidate will work closely with our Hybrid Infrastructure team and other key functions across the organization to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure with a focus on continuous improvement, high availability, security, and the latest innovations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure and Oracle OCI technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and supervision to the team, ensuring high-quality delivery of cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for the team and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, best practices, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in planning, designing, and managing Azure/OCI cloud infrastructure, including virtual servers, virtual desktops, storage, networking, and connectivity services.
  • Five or more years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing traditional infrastructure solutions in a combined Windows and Unix/Linux environment.
